First Day of School

I've been quiet the last month here. Sorry. Vacation in Rio was super, and much needed. Lots of other things to do and catch up on, too. For instance, schools starts today again. I'm teaching introductory astronomy, a course I really enjoy, so that should be fun. Even when you've taught a course before, there's always work to do to make it good. The other milestone of the month is that the divorce is finalized and Leah's leaving Laramie for good today, headed for Seattle.

The novel revisions aren't complete. They will remain my primary non-astronomy/teaching concern in coming weeks. Novels are a lot of work, don't doubt it.

I've got some exciting astronomy things to share. The Hubble Space Telescope images continue to roll in, and are really fantastic, exceeding my expectations.
