While Laramie is a small town, relatively isolated, it is a college town and brings in a variety of events. There are things going on that are fun and interesting, and often just a short walk from my office. Last night the Golden Dragon Acrobats performed for free (well, the University paid, but not the audience), and it was a great show. I went with my collaborator, Qirong Yuan from Nanjing Normal University, who is in town working on a project involving winds from active galaxies. I found a recent review of a show they put on elsewhere -- no time today for a long entry.
