Interview with Michael Griffin
I came across this
online interview with Michael Griffin, the director of NASA. I've already said I thought he was a great pick for the job, and I stand by that. The interview points out that if the shuttle fleet gets back in service as planned, there will indeed be a Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission in 2007. I just got my latest Hubble observing proposal in on Friday, and will wait to hear in April if I get the 18 orbits I've requested. I do okay getting Hubble time, but it's always tough for any individual project.
