Fan fiction can expand story lines of popular characters, and for writers - The Boston Globe
Is it a realistic stepping stone to becoming a professional writer? An insult to the original creators? Would, as Patrick Nielsen Hayden says, editors really troll fan fic for new discoveries if they had the time? Is it a harmless diversion or a pitfall to be avoided?
Oh, and car problems and PC virus problems are all apparently resolved. I'm back on top of this only about five days behind my schedule, which was only a few weeks behind schedule...
